Music Licensing Guidelines for Virtual Fitness Classes

Important Information for Instructors

As many of our valued fitness professionals transition to online teaching during challenging times, we want to provide clear guidance regarding music usage in virtual environments.

**Please note:** The music you’ve purchased from us is licensed for in-person instruction only. Using our original artist tracks as background music in virtual classes requires additional streaming licenses that we cannot currently provide. Your gym’s public performance license typically covers only in-person classes, not online streaming platforms.

Solutions for Virtual Instruction

We’re pleased to announce that Instructor Music and 32CountFitness.com are developing specially licensed music specifically for virtual fitness instruction. These upcoming releases will be:

• Fully cleared for use on any video streaming platform
• Available without additional licensing requirements
• Designed to avoid copyright claims or take-downs

While we’ve created these mixes to be copyright-compliant, please understand that third-party platforms may occasionally flag content. As these platforms operate independently from us, we cannot guarantee against all potential issues.

We remain committed to supporting your teaching success across all formats and platforms.
